General information

The EUREGIO-KLINIK is located in Nordhorn (County of Grafschaft Bentheim) and has established itself in the course of its more than 100-year history as a second level hospital. In our 13 main departments, four affiliated departments, outpatient clinics and competence centers, we treat around 20,000 inpatients and over 50,000 outpatients every year. We have 522 beds at our disposal.

Emergency department

In case of emergency, call 112 (emergency/fire/rescue service) or 110 (police).

Our emergency department is open 24/7 and can be reached at +49 (0) 5921 84-0.

Language and translators

While we have multilingual team (doctors and nurses) we can communicate with you as patient or with your family members and try to solve any problem or misunderstanding. We offer this service in our Hospital even per Telefon 24/7.

RESIDENCY AS INPATIENT

Forms of nutrition

We welcome people of all nationalities, skin colors, ethnicities and religions. Thus, we are aware of religious diets such as kosher food. Our menus are also available in vegetarian or vegan form. We try to accommodate all your dietary needs. Please do not hesitate to contact the staff of your ward.

Pastoral care

Our pastoral care works independently of any particular confession and is available to all people as needed. If you would like your own priest to visit you, we will also try to arrange this.

Please contact the nursing staff on your ward or the pastoral staff directly.

Disclaimer

Personal valuables such as jewelry or large amounts of cash should not be taken into the hospital, if possible. The hospital assumes no liability for the loss of valuables or other personal items. Please do not take these items into the hospital with you:

• Large amounts of cash
• Debit or credit cards that are not essential
• Rings, bracelets, necklaces, watches or other jewelry
• Valuable electronic items
• General valuables

In this context, we expressly point out that the responsibility for the items brought into our hospital lies with the patients themselves. More detailed information can be found in the General Terms and Conditions under § 14 and § 15.

Visit as a family member

If you are family member of one of our patients, you are kindly welcome to come for a visit. But please note the following information.

General visiting hours

• Mondays to Fridays from 14.00 p.m. to 19.00 p.m.
• Saturdays and Sundays from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.

General visiting hours do not apply to obstetrics, intensive care units (adults and children), the pediatric ward and psychiatric ward. Please note the deviating regulations here.

Deviating regulations

Obstetrics

• Daily from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Intensive Care Units (Units 14 and 23 as well as Unit 15 Stroke-Unit/IMC)

• Daily from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Please register your visit by telephone at the front desk/ward

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

• Parents are welcome to visit at any time
• Visiting hours for family and friends are from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and should be limited to 10 minutes in length

Pediatric Ward

• Parents and siblings are welcome at any time
• Visiting hours for relatives and friends are from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily

Psychiatry

• Mondays through Fridays from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Saturdays and Sundays from 10.00 to 11.30 a.m. and from 2.30 to 7.00 p.m.
• If you would like to visit a patient on the closed psychiatric ward, please contact the ward office in advance at +49 (0) 5921 84-4530

Parking

On the site of the EUREGIO-KLINIK there is an day and night fee-based parking facility. The parking spots are spacious. In addition, there are family parking spots and parking spots for the disabled.

Wheelchairs are available directly in the parking garage or in the entrance hall of the hospital.
